Engineers and programmers are the often-anonymous architects of society, and what you do now could make a huge difference to the lives of millions, even billions, of people in decades to come.

i still haven't started school yet.
omar has a brand new truck. a black ford ranger xlt 2 door 3.0L V6 6ft... i believe that's what it is. it looks strong and tough... the tires are huge and lifts the truck up pretty high. it's dope. but i believe he could've gotten another car and fixed it up. but then again... he only had a few bills to actually throw down. the rest is on credit and monthly payments.
we now have a night-shift supervisor at work. booo. it use to be just patti, our team leader, supervising us. she would sometimes throw us pizza parties or let us out a few hours earlier and let us take 15 minute breaks. but now this new supervisor had to go and kill it. now, we have to work all the way till 10 o'clock before we can start getting ready to leave. before we'd be out of the door by 9:50. oh well. i'm not going to be there for much longer. that sucks for omar and the rest of the night crew.
dude-o-dude. i've just been wasting my summer away doing nothing. i haven't worked out like i said i would. damn... i feel totally out of shape. i think i'll start doing that tomorrow.
i also need to work on my bike. i still need to sand it down and spray paint it and get the new brakes and tires. "why a bike?" you ask? well... to get around the stupid UCLA campus. walking up and down that #%@-forsaken hill is a bitch and wears you out too much. i think a bike will leave me with some energy to study and do homework.
i got parking at school! so why do i need a bike? because we only get parking at one of the few lots at our crappy school, unlike you people who go to school at fullerton or long beach or occ or uci. and lemme tell you something... parking and traffic is a bitch at l.a. that has got to be the number one reason why i hate l.a. so much. you can't get around anywhere... and when you do get somewhere... you can't find parking. and if you do find parking... you'll have to pay... pay $6 for a full day or $.25 for 8-15 minutes. none of it is worth it. i love my orange county traffic and parking. it's heaven compared to l.a.... it's perfect. so don't take it for granted people.
