Engineers and programmers are the often-anonymous architects of society, and what you do now could make a huge difference to the lives of millions, even billions, of people in decades to come.

so i've been going to church every weekend since Easter. good times calls for being thankful. i don't go to SJB anymore because the masses are just too boring. mass at christ our savior (the cathedral that's supposed to be built at alton but since it's not it's at the school auditorium next door) with fr. michael is much more entertaining.
this weekend was quite the event because i ran into 2 people that i haven't seen in forever.
elizabeth kreiger was there with her family and her new 5 month old baby girl haley (sp.). her daughter is incredibly adorable. every time i acknowledged her she gave me the biggest smile ever showing off her gums and 2 tiny front teeth barely coming out. she shared some juicy gossip that i'll be willing to share at the next event. good stuff.
pia zaragoza was there. little miss paris france is back in town. fr. michael singled her out and welcomed her and invited her to return.
