i'm in the computer lab for the second time today. this is why i don't go to discussion... because you find out that it's cancelled 5 minutes after you step into the room. so from now on, i will never go to discussion. all last year, i only went to 2 out of 90 discussions (to hang out with someone... not to actually learn anything) and i had my best grades then.
so NEVER AGAIN!

"i've spent about $450 on my first day of school," is what i say every quarter and nothing has changed this quarter. "stupid really expensive engineering books," is what the excuse would be. not this time. i only have to spend $16.95 this quarter on books. everything will be online for two of my classes and for one of those classes the lectures are going to be video taped and streamed online. yes! i already have the books for my third class. so i decided to go on a shopping spree to spend the non-existant cash that i would normally spend on books.
i bought an iPod, a wireless optical mouse for my laptop, ghost in the shell volume 2, $13 worth of music on iTunes, and random groceries and food. and all of that was charged. you gotta love credit: spending cash that you will have but don't have at the moment but will definitely not end up paying for the credit card bill but go towards some other outlandish thing that you need at that moment. it's funny how i didn't use my credit card most of the summer. i was busy paying it off with all the money i've been earning from work.
i haven't received my financial aid check yet so i'm living off of credit and my next pay check (which i won't receive until monday all though it is being handed out to my co-workers today). damn!
i'm enjoying my iPod and the christina milian CD that i got on iTunes.
