i could have sworn i blogged the wednesday before thanksgiving but i guess not...
happy belated thanksgiving everyone! i am grateful for having everyone i've come across and everything around me.
this had to be the best thanksgiving in a really long time, if not the best ever.
on wednesday, a family friend confirmed a shipment of playstation 3s and my sister was able to get one. thanks sister for getting it for me! you're the best. granted it was only a 20gb but it was all that i needed. i will upgrade the hard drive in the near future to 120gb. plus, i don't need the wireless because i already have a cat-5 hardline running to the HDTiVo box.
i appropriately named my playstation 3 "eden" after the cutie from heroes (may she rest in piece or come back to life like michelle dessler from 24 and shannon from lost...).
the extended family came over during the thanksgiving weekend (a good portion of the family went to vegas for the holiday) and we were all able to play the hell out of "eden". yeah, we got 4 controllers to make full use of her. despite being $50 a piece, it was well worth it. i have to say, everyone else has played my PS3 more than me. they even beat the game without me!
thanksgiving was great. i got to spend it with a very special someone and her family. it's all about electronic taboo. plus, no waiting in crazy lines for black friday.
black friday was cool, too! despite arriving at best buy 10 minutes after it opened (5a.m.) and having to walk through the line that snaked from the front door to the other side of metro pointe and back to the front door, i was able to pick up some really great deals for friends and family.
