Engineers and programmers are the often-anonymous architects of society, and what you do now could make a huge difference to the lives of millions, even billions, of people in decades to come.

today was by far the worst drive i've ever had between Costa Mesa and Los Angeles. it took me 2 hours and 50 minutes to get home!! can you believe that shit? the previous record was 2 hours and 30 minutes. today was horrible. at least i wasn't on the 405 North. they closed down 3 lanes (carpool and 2 regular lanes). i was going so slow i could watch the CHP officers surveying the scene. i could've gotten out of my car to talk to them and walk back and traffic would still be the same. insanely horrible. i was able to eat all of my yan yans without a worry. and the radio sucked too! i need an MP3 player or something...
i hate driving in LA. everything is so hectic and chaotic. everyone is just trying to get somewhere. defensive drivers will not last in LA. you must be offensive and aggressive. if not, the city will just eat you up.
slept for a few hours to make up for the lost sleep this morning (bastards up stairs). that final today was insane. i think everyone was dumbfounded at how difficult it was. again, it was a very very long test. i left 20 minutes before time was up because i couldn't take it anymore. my head hurt trying to think (plus i was tired). starbucks, red robin, graffitea, poker and pool. sounds like a usual night. good times.
