i was uncomfortable with X while we were going out. i understood what he meant to you and that you wanted to make things right with him. i was happy that things eventually became straight with him. i don't want to be like X and cause trouble. look, everything is straight between me and you. there's nothing left that needs to be worked out. so that's my statement.
