Engineers and programmers are the often-anonymous architects of society, and what you do now could make a huge difference to the lives of millions, even billions, of people in decades to come.

so today after class i got to talk with a fellow classmate of mine. i walked her down to her club meeting when she realized she was an hour too early. so we decided to sit and chat. it was nice talking with someone. and it was a pretty deep and adult (meaning "mature", get your head out of the gutter) conversation. it ranged from cars (she has a GSR, knows integras but knows nothing about my fairlady *sigh*) to religion (she's christian and goes to church [probably not the same sunday church...]) to smallville and angel (i forgot to TiVo them but she reassured me that she taped them and that i could watch it with her sometime) to stealing. there are so many parts of the conversation that i wished we could've touched more on but the subject matter just flowed around to different things. oh well, we still have time to talk... she's only moving back to san jose in june after she graduates.
...interesting. now if only someone would talk to me about her 5-speed integra named...
