Engineers and programmers are the often-anonymous architects of society, and what you do now could make a huge difference to the lives of millions, even billions, of people in decades to come.

cliff pajaro... you are the shit right now. lol.
i just came back from a class i had to teach... yep, teach. everybody in the class for the next 3 weeks has to go up and do a presentation (this is a small class of about 8 people). it just so happened that my presentation took an hour and a half. my professor pretty much had me teach the class all day today. i used no note cards, no index cards, no cheat sheet. most of it was off the top of my head with a few look-backs into the book. that was great. i wasn't nervous at all. i have to get an A in that class...
now my waffle class, i'm still ranked #1 so that has to be an A.
now the other class where i got a 100%... i did so well on that difficult second-midterm that i jumped to rank #9 in the class.
okay okay, this blog post is mostly me show boating. but i damn well deserve it. i've been down emotionally for the past half-year... i need a little bit of motivation. so be happy for me.
