Engineers and programmers are the often-anonymous architects of society, and what you do now could make a huge difference to the lives of millions, even billions, of people in decades to come.

thanks chris for reminding me that the top part of a desk is known as a "hutch".
i bought the nina sky CD today. these twins are hot. nina = nicole and natalie. it's pretty good. it's nice to hear some good R&B songs on the radio now. and it's time to welcome back mase. need to get that CD when it comes out. i still need to get a copy of his first album....
i also bought office space and super troopers. two damn funny movies. office space is a classic though. everyone needs a copy of this movie. keep in mind that omar, paul, and i had a work atmosphere very similar to the one in the movie. we had "tps report"-like reports to do with cover letters and many other frivolous rules to follow that changed from day to day. i'm glad we didn't have memos to worry about. but we also had a printer that told us many times "PC load letter" (basically out of paper).
***** DON'T READ THE FOLLOWING IF YOU'VE NEVER SEEN OFFICE SPACE *****
it didn't trouble us like it did michael and samir but i would love to beat up on it like they did. it would be nice if someone burnt it down to the ground...
