Engineers and programmers are the often-anonymous architects of society, and what you do now could make a huge difference to the lives of millions, even billions, of people in decades to come.

they say, "it is better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all." i beg to differ. getting over someone you love is one of the toughest things anyone has to endure. i say, "save me the heart-ache." one would be better off not knowing how great love is for one would not be wanting to find love again so passionately.
then they say, "patience is a virtue." how long must one wait? years can go by, decades can go by, and a person's prime is passed and then there's nothing left. i may be over dramatic with the last statement but it would be sad to have loved once and never loved again. to me, that's a tragedy.
