Engineers and programmers are the often-anonymous architects of society, and what you do now could make a huge difference to the lives of millions, even billions, of people in decades to come.

i got paid yesterday. damn, i only got paid for 26 hours. such a small paycheck. i'm gonna miss the usual 88 hours i used to put in. what sucks, though, is that i deposited my financial aid checks with my paycheck. since i was depositing over 5k in checks, they had to delay $4950 for a week. so i basically just deposited $50... 1% of what i came in with. so for one whole week i will have only $50 more dollars to spend. what a f-in bummer.
what sucks even more is that all-in-all, i will only have $100 to spend from the $5k. stupid high ass tuition and stupid high ass rent. let's do the math:
1700 -> tuition
600 -> security deposit
1800 -> next 3 months rent
---------------------------
4100
180 -> cell phone bill for next 3 months
600 -> credit card used for food, books (a.k.a. ipod) and other school and living expenses
---------------------------
4880
so maybe i'll have $120 left.
and i wanted to buy my rims, too. oh well. i guess i gotta look forward to something else... halo 2?
then again, within the next 3 months, i'll be getting 6 paychecks.
i guess i'm going to have to do some time division multiplexing with my finances.
