the "list" has been updated.
please don't think of the list as being purely superficial and based on looks alone. i have a lot of respect for these women. they can act, they can literally kick ass (sans Kristin Kreuk and Eva Longoria), they're extremely good looking, they have sexy voices, they have a good sense of humor (iono about Angelina Jolie), and i really love the characters they play.
Angelina Jolie, why is she on the list? i saw "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" today and all i gotta say is, "i don't blame you, Brad Pitt, for leaving Jennifer Aniston". i love Jennifer Aniston and all and i was bugged when i heard about their break-up. after seeing the movie, it all makes sense now. so that made me think, "i would leave my wife for Angelina Jolie".
Eva Longoria, why is she on the list? okay, she may be on the list solely based on pure looks. but i liked her sense of humor on the VH1 Maxim's Hot 100 in 2005. i thought that was really sexy.
Vanessa Marcil, why is she on the list? (1) she was in the Rock with Nicholas Cage, (2) she was on General Hospital (more on that later), and (3) she always plays strong, very independent, take-no-crap-from-anybody characters. my aunt would watch 3 hours soap operas every day, 5 days a week: all my children (@12p.m.), one life to live (@1p.m.), and general hospital (@2p.m.). i'd come home from elementary school around 2:45 and catch the tail end of GH. now i was probably too young to really appreciate it (if you know what i mean) but i recognized how beautiful Vanessa Marcil was. she played the woman who was able to get the mob boss Sonny Carleon (sp.) to marry her. now, soap opera stories are never that easy but she played a very strong character. now she's on the show Las Vegas playing another well respected character. she definitely deserves her recognition.
Rachel Perry, why isn't she on the list? i love this girl. i loved her since she was a VJ on the Canadian Much Music (was channel 339 on DirecTV). it's her sense of humor, she's so sarcastic and witty. i enjoy and laugh at all her comments. but in a recent FHM or stuff magazine, she talked about she's a big party girl and described the type of guy she's into and that's just not me. not that i'd have a chance if her tastes were different, but yeah. i still love her and i still respect her. so she's part of a second list.
note: obviously naming the list as "the women i will leave my wife and kids for" is rather strong and speaks very lowly of me. and it's just a hyperbole. i would not leave my wife and kids for anyone or anything unless their lives depended on it. my wife would not be my wife if i did not love her and did not think she was the only one in the entire universe for me and vice-versa. and plus, i don't have a wife or kids.
