Engineers and programmers are the often-anonymous architects of society, and what you do now could make a huge difference to the lives of millions, even billions, of people in decades to come.

Thursday, October 27, 2005 1. Open up the music player on your computer. 2. Set it to play your entire music collection. 3. Hit the shuffle command. 4. Tell us the title of the next ten songs that show up (with their musicians), no matter how embarrassing. That's right, no skipping that Carpenters tune that will totally destroy your hip credibility. It's time for total musical honesty. 5. If you get the same artist twice, you may skip the second (or third, or etc.) occurrences. You don't have to, but since randomness could mean you end up with a list of ten song with five artists, you can if you'd like.
omg! i play my 4000+ mp3s on shuffle all the time. i'm still finding out about songs i didn't know i had or didn't know the artist name.

Griffin Technology - 87.9 (it's for the iTrip) 7. green day - she's a rebel 8. de la soul - baby phat 9. dj dibles one - track 03 (ex-co-workers boyfriend's mix. it's really: donnell jones - say what ) 10. lauryn hill - all my time
i really really wanted that blues clues theme song... or barney... or arthur and friends to play.
it's funny how i have the albums to the artists above and the songs that got radio play showed up.
