Engineers and programmers are the often-anonymous architects of society, and what you do now could make a huge difference to the lives of millions, even billions, of people in decades to come.

i ask that you all take at least one second to pray for (or at least acknowledge) yourselves, family, friends, and all that you have. it's the least you can do.
now i ask that you take a second out to pray for my family, my brother-in-law especially. his father, my uncle caesar (sp.), had a heart-attack in the philippines and is in a coma. the outlook was bad so they pulled the plug. he has not passed away yet but the time is coming. his wife passed away from cancer a few years earlier so i know she is waiting to be re-united with him. i suppose he knew what was coming because he called my brother-in-law this past week and spoke with him and all of my nieces.
