Engineers and programmers are the often-anonymous architects of society, and what you do now could make a huge difference to the lives of millions, even billions, of people in decades to come.

i'm stage 2 in my biking regime...
the beginner stage was biking to and from campus through de neve, down the dreaded tennis-court hill, through EEIV, and up the MS hill. all of that in first gear.
stage 1 was going through all of that in third gear.
now i'm stage 2.
the tennis-court hill is no longer dreaded by me (although it still is by sammy... weak!). so i had to make myself another challenge.
stage 2 is the same going TO class. coming back FROM class it's down the MS hill, through EEIV, down strathmore (the street), up charles e. young drive (yes, that hill that leads you to the dorms where many a person has stalled at that stop sign... *ahem* marie *ahem*).

it was only because you were pressuring me! just like you did when you first taught me to drive manual, and told me, "you can't stall now, rosco is watching!" i stalled. then i quit learning for 6 months... all because of you!
