Engineers and programmers are the often-anonymous architects of society, and what you do now could make a huge difference to the lives of millions, even billions, of people in decades to come.

the reason i have 2 tivo boxes:
monday: prison break and heroes tuesday: gilmore girls, veronica mars, and house wednesday: lost and the nine thursday: the office and CSI friday: battlestar gallactica sunday: simpsons, family guy, the war at home, and dexter
another reason, if someone is watching on tivo box #1, i can go to tivo box #2.
TV is what's keeping me alive, people. TV is what gets me through the week.

it's kinda funny how bsg is on friday night....it kinda implies something about the audience they're targeting.... not that you're a geek. well, you are, but in a good way...really. :P
I was laying in bed, just about to go to sleep, when I thought about you. At first I thought about leaving a myspace comment but 1. I'm not on myspace as often as I was before and 2. I thought leaving a comment on your blog might be more meaningful seeing that I consider all of us part-time/full-time bloggers as belonging to a special club.
Anyway, earlier this week I was talking to someone who asked me, "do you still keep in touch with anyone you've known since childhood?" and I said, "yeah, of course! I was lucky enough to meet some great people during my formative years and I've made it a goal to keep in touch with them..." Now that I'm laying in bed and keeping myself up with thoughts that usually keep me up at night (what am I going to do with my life after I finish school, will I be lonely forever, where will I be in a year, etc.) I got to thinking...
I could pick up and leave at any time. I can survive if I moved to New York, London, Long Beach, LA, etc. Hell, I could even survive and be happy. But tonight, when I cuddled up with my blankets, which smell of fabric detergent, I thought about you and Loc and all my friends from "way back when" and I realized, no matter where I go, this is home. This will be home.
I wanted to share that moment with you. Also, this week's Veronica Mars wasn't as good as last weeks.
