ROCK BAND ROCKS!!!! i just picked it up from target this morning. got there at 7:30 and was #2 in line. there were about 10 people behind me when the store opened. about half of them were moms getting it for sons. awww the days i used to send my mom out to get me games and systems when i was still in school.
the songs are amazing and the gameplay is a lot better than guitar hero 3. for some reason the notes really sucked in GH3.
i'm trying the drums right now and it's taking me back to the times practicing at mars music on bristol way back in the day (remember those days Theresa?). i started in medium and it's quite a challenge. i'm resisting the urge to drop it back to easy.

i expect you to master the medium level and not resort to the easy level! i mean, c'mon, we spent a lot of time at Mars music...and I mean ALOT of time! remember that one time we were in there for 3 hours?!?! what the heck? i wish i had that kind of time now. ahhh the good ol' days..
